(Ongoing Photography Series) A self-portrait series that challenges societal expectations of able-bodied women. Through intimate, bold imagery, the series highlights the stereotypical roles that society often demands women to embody—nurturing, glamorous, independent—roles that, for disabled women, are seldom imagined or encouraged. In each photograph, the artist subverts these expectations, using her own disabled body as a symbol of both exclusion and resistance. The series questions the narrow definitions of femininity and strength, urging viewers to reconsider how disability reshapes the very concept of womanhood, while exploring the complex intersection of identity, power, and visibility.
